As an independent company, we are able to use the manufacturer who is most suited to your particular design. We are an honest family business who take genuine pride in the finished product. We adhere to strong ethical policies and don't believe in pushy sales techniques. The person who conducts a survey in your home will be the same person who orders the shutters and will be an experienced fitter. They will make themselves available to you at all times to answer any questions or discuss any concerns. We will take no shortcuts and will look after your home.


What we do for our Community

We support and donate to the charity Cool Earth, a non-profit organisation that works alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation and its impact on climate change. We support our local schools, Verwood First and more recently Emmanuel Middle School by donating great raffle prizes for the school fayres. We also support our local kids Football Team Verwood Town FC (a non-profit organisation working for the community) and sponsor their training kit.

We do our best to avoid filling landfills unnecessarily. We recycle all our cardboard and work with a local business, Glass Relief (www.glassrelief.co.uk), who uses our wrapping to pack their amazing glass art. We mainly use Paulownia Hardwood Shutters, which is not only a beautiful quality hardwood, but also one of the most sustainable hardwoods around. It is fast growing and can be traced back to source, thereby stopping illegal deforestation.

Your Shutter Installation Project from A to Z

1. Make an enquiry with us by phone/email/enquiry form/in person.

2. We come to your home to measure the windows and discuss your requirements (no presentation or sales speech. This can be as quick as you want). After this visit, we are always at the end of the phone to inform and advise, so please don't hesitate to call or email us if you have any hesitations/questions/worries/second thoughts about a style, colour or anything whatsoever. We will always be happy to come back to discuss and visualise options again. 

3. When you are ready to go ahead and we have all the details we need, we then proceed to place the order with our supplier for the bespoke shutters to be manufactured. The  length of the process between placing the order and receiving the shutters is about 8-10 weeks on average. 

4. As soon as we have received your bespoke shutters, we contact you to arrange an installation date (usually within the next few days). We fit your shutters with the highest care and professionalism, whilst treating your home respectfully. We wear slippers, take all the rubbish and packaging with us and hoover and clean up after us. All we leave are some beautifully installed shutters that will transform your room.
